One of the best pieces of advice Jeremey and I were given was to sincerely enjoy each developmental stage as Sterling grows and to not hurry him along anxiously (thanks Millers). We took that advice to heart and are truly enjoying every moment with Sterling. Every day we have so much fun watching Sterling experience his environment with his hands and his eyes and his ears. It's such an amazing thing to witness and we are blessed beyond words. Tonight when I got home from work (6:40ish), Jeremey and Sterling were sitting on the front porch watching cars pass by. Sterling looked so adorable following the cars as they drove past...almost like a little lap dog. He is our little pup!
In this video clip, Sterling is eating sweet potatoes. We've already mastered rice and oatmeal cereals and bananas...so a veggie was in order. :) Tonight was the first night he ate an entire jar of baby food. MAAAAAYBE he'll sleep longer tonight. Fingers crossed.
