More Pics of Sterling

When my mom was visiting, she had a really clever idea for labeling all the clothes that friends had loaned us for Sterling to wear. I was feeling overwhelmed at the idea of having to make list describing each little piece of baby apparel and to whom it belonged. So, my mom stitched a different color of thread to the collar of each piece of clothing depending on who it belonged to! Isn't that a great way to non-permanently label the clothes!?!
One of the NICU II nurses gave this cute little baseball outfit to Sterling.
And check out those matching booties...aren't they too cute?!
Here I am feeding my baby boy! Talk about an exciting moment!
How about those baby blues? Not sure what's up with his hand in this shot...but we're pretty sure it's not the local nursery gang sign. LOL!
Dad got to feed him, too. He's a pro!Time for a burp! Very manly activity for Dad and son!
Here's Sterling in the bassinet they transferred him too. No more enclosed plastic box!!!

This picture is so adorable. He's all snuggled into Dad's chest...face smushed and everything. Now THAT'S comfort!
Kangaroo time with Mom. Sterling LOVES being close to Mommy...and Mommy loves it too!
Dad gets kangaroo time as well. Of course, it's not as good as mom's kangaroo session...but that goes without saying! Just kidding!
While Sterling was in NICU III, we let him be a part of a study to test a specific type of blood oxygen patch for the head and kidney. It didn't bother him at all and it will help other sick babies.
